Czech Publishers' Association

The Czech Publishers Association was founded in 1990 and is the only representative association of entrepreneurs and employers in publishing periodicals and providing content via the Internet in the Czech Republic. The Czech Publishers Association is a legal person operating within the territory of the Czech Republic.

The Czech Publishers Association associates the majority of publishers of nation-wide and regional dailies and the considerable majority of major magazine publishers. Twenty six of its members publish dailies only, five of them are daily publishing houses, four are publishers of dailies, supplements and magazines and 8 are Internet content providers that do not publish any periodical press. Together with five associate members publishing professional journals, the Czech Publishers Association has the total number of 47 members.
