At the European Newspaper Publishers’ Association (ENPA) Board and General Assembly meeting on May 20 in Brussels, a new Board was appointed for the next 2 years. ENPA President Francois le Hodey (Belgium) and Vice-Presidents Jean-Pierre de Kerraoul (France), Pierpaolo Camadini (Italy), and Boguslaw Chrabota (Poland) as well as ENPA Treasurer Gerald Grünberger (Austria) were all re-elected, whereas Matthias Ditzen-Blanke (Germany) was newly elected as Board member and Vice-President. Stoyana Georgieva was in turn newly elected as ENPA Board as well as Executive Committee member.
Valdo Lehari (Germany), who served two terms as ENPA President and had for long been serving as Vice-President but did not stand for re-election, was elected Honorary President of ENPA.
José Guimarães, who had been serving as Acting Executive Director since July 2025, was confirmed in the role of Executive Director.
The European Newspaper Publishers’ Association (ENPA) is the largest representative body of newspaper publishers across Europe. ENPA advocates for 14 national associations across 14 European countries, and is a principal interlocutor to the EU institutions and a key driver of media policy debates in the European Union.
