Valdo Lehari Jr. is CEO and Publisher of Reutlinger General-Anzeiger Verlag in Germany. He has been a member of the Executive Board of Directors of Reutlinger General-Anzeiger since 1985. Previously, he was the Assistant of the Managing Director at the newspaper General-Anzeiger Bonn. He has also been Managing Director and CEO of “Radio RT 4” since its foundation in 1986.
In November 2010, he became Vice-President of the European Newspaper Publisher´s Association (ENPA), Brussels – after serving as its President for four years, the maximum term allowed under the organisation´s statutes. Since 2001, he has been Chairman of the Executive Board and President of the Association of Newspaper Publishers of Southwest Germany, “Verband Südwestdeutscher Zeitungsverleger e.V. (VSZV),” Stuttgart.
He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of dpa, Hamburg since June 2005. He has also been a Member of the Board "Bundesverband Deutscher Zeitungsverleger e.V. (BDZV)," Berlin since 2001. In December 2010, he was appointed honorary senator of the University of Tübingen. In addition, he has been active for many years in various committees at the regional, federal and federal state level for more than 20 years.
